Booking Preview
When retrieving a Coach Booking you will be presented with an overview of the service which details only the departure and arrival location.
Please ensure the booking previewed is the correct booking before pressing Accept.
If the incorrect booking is retrieved, please press cancel and retrieve your booking details again from the previous steps.
Enabling Location Services
At this stage should the app have not accessed your precise location permissions, it will now prompt you to grant permissions to sharing your location services with the app.
To enable tracking, we recommend enabling the Driver Companion App permissions to 'Allow While Using App' to allow GPS data to be accessible whilst the app is active.
Next you will receive a second prompt asking you to allow the app to use your location even when you are not using the app. We recommend enabling the Driver Companion App permissions to 'Always Allow' to allow your locations services to be accessible whist the app is inactive, idle or locked whilst driving.
You will receive a final prompt asking you to allow the app to use your motion and fitness activity setting when you are using the app. We recommend enabling the Driver Companion App permissions to use this setting to help power off location updates when stationary on rest, standby or idling.
En-Route & Arriving
Once all location services have been permitted, you will visibly see your current vehicle location within proximity of the first arrival point as you proceed to travel En-Route to the start location of the service.
Arriving at the Start Location
When arriving at your service start location, please ensure you are safely parked in a visible location before pressing Arrive on your mobile device.
Journey Details, Intermediates and Via Locations
After arriving at your pickup location, you will be presented with the overview of the booking again which details the departure, arrival and any intermediate or via locations for the journey.
If you have any intermediate or via locations, these will be presented on the map as a blue location marker, with each marker numbered accordingly by the sequence of order for each of the intermediate or via locations as shown below.
To view the full journey sequence in more detail, please select the list detail button which can be found in the middle of the map on the the left side. Click outside the route details popup to close.
Passenger Details
To view the full passenger list, please select the people detail icon which can be found next to the Passengers section in the journey overview card at the top. Click outside the passenger details popup to close.
Departing & Arriving Between Legs
Upon departure for both outbound and return journeys, you will be asked to capture the passenger loading status. The passenger loading status refers to the amount of seats available on the service. This information helps First Travel Solutions decide if they should have stand-by vehicles available to pick up more passengers. Please provide an estimate by choosing between the options, 'seats available', 'almost full' and 'no seats available'.
Completing Your Booking
Upon arriving at the last service location the booking completion screen will appear to indicate the booking is complete. On this screen, you can see in-depth details about the journey, such as fare, distance, duration, waiting time in minutes, and any gratuity or extras.
Please review and modify any details on the Booking Completion screen before pressing complete to end tracking your vehicle.
Completing a booking will return you back to the home screen where you can track your next booking.
